useless as it simply does not work

I took a picture of my face in a another cel phone and put in front of the camera, it measure 56 bpm...

...for a very long time in order to get an unreliable pulse frequency. This App is a nice idea that doesnt work.

App looks nice and works, but has three major drawbacks: - it has an absolutely needless sound effect such that music stops playing when opening the app - even in good light, the measurement isnt very reliable (and its sometimes unclear if the measurement succeeded) - the app doesnt support different modes for workout, sitting, relaxing etc

Innovative, intuitive, highly functional....pushing the application barrier of the iPad to the max.

Easy to use. I am testing it in the gym as a fitness tool for my students.

Awesome app and unbelievably accurate.

This app seems to work pretty well. I have not tried it on an infant or child yet. Pretty amazing. I have used a photo plethysmograph before on a finger but who would ever guess you could just aim at someones face and get enough change in colour to get a good pulse reading.

Regardless of my activity level, this app ALWAYS tells me my heart rate is 71. After running, after a gym session, after napping on the sofa: 71 A nurse friend who took my pulse at the same points in time got values of 118, 94 and 76.

One of the best. Works VERY well and its fast too.

A great app: simple, clean design, accurate, and there is a touch of magic since it seems crazy that it can read your pulse off your face.

Works better than advertised. The breath rate add in (pro version?) is well worth the $0.99 also.

I appreciate the periodic reminders. I compared results to my manual blood pressure monitor and they were exactly the same.
